Ricardo Calvario, co-founder of the Institute for Natural Philosophy and director of its Ancient History Research Center, joins George Howard for a wide-ranging conversation across evolutionary theory, pandemic origins, ancient copper trade, and catastrophism, three decades of research condensed into ninety minutes.

Ricardo opens by explaining the Institute's founding principle: examining evidence without rejecting anything that might corroborate a hypothesis, seen or unseen, empirical or otherwise, a philosophy that grew out of his skepticism toward macroevolution and the Big Bang, both of which he argues rest on interpretive assumptions treated as settled fact. He draws on Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe's panspermia research, and George reveals his own parallel work publishing alongside Wickramasinghe on viral material arriving from space, before both pivot to a sharper claim: that SARS-CoV-2 originated not from space but from Chapel Hill, roughly 22 miles from George's home. Ricardo describes a National Geographic report that allegedly prompted Congress to ban public epigenetic gain-of-function research after exposing weapons research capable of spreading indiscriminately across populations, forcing the work into classified channels, and details a documented million-dollar transfer connecting Fauci-linked funding to Wuhan researchers.

The conversation's most detailed thread covers ancient copper. Ricardo's research, developed alongside 90-year-old engineer Jean Scherz, who mapped over 1,000 ancient sites across Michigan's Upper Peninsula using Fibonacci-sequence positioning for long-distance communication networks, identifies a massive discrepancy: roughly 300,000 tons of copper appears in the Old World archaeological record, while known Old World mines could not have produced more than 10% of that total. Testing on Ötzi's copper axe, obtained with reluctance from a European university, returned 97.77% purity, a level Ricardo argues is chemically impossible to achieve from any sulfide or chalcolithic ore known in Europe, but consistent with native metallic copper of the kind found in enormous, minimally processed deposits across the American Upper Peninsula, evidence he connects to genuine pre-Columbian transatlantic contact and trade networks running through hubs in southern England, Iberia, and Cyprus.
