On Sept. 11, 2001, president George W. Bush's chief of staff Andrew Card leaned over to whisper in Bush's ear that America was under attack. In the quarter century since that moment, he has reflected on Sept. 11 and what came after. Card, whose career included a stint in the House of Representatives and service as the secretary of transportation, sat down recently to visit with The Dallas Morning News Editorial Board.
