Deep Sexy Sultry House - Velvety Grooves VG006

Welcome to Velvety Grooves, the electronic playground of The Funk Assassin.

In this session, we explore a psychedelic electronic soundscape of low-slung grooves, hypnotic melodies and dirty, bluesy textures. Inspired by the sound of Tennessee, it asks a question: what if The Black Keys were reimagined for a modern dancefloor, driven by electronic beats?

We kick off with a fun opening run to get thing's started: Gloria Estefan’s “Dr. Beat,” Tensnake, Nile Rodgers and Fiora’s “Love Sublime,” and “Perfect Place” by I.M YONI, Yasmin and Robert PM. Then we get deep down and dirty into the session, as raw guitar spirit, cosmic synths and a chugging pulse take over. Turn it up and let the groove take you somewhere.
