So… Do We Panic Now!?

🚨 ARSENAL INJURY CRISIS?! Christos Tzolis has become the latest Arsenal player to suffer an injury during the international break, with the winger forced off for Greece with a hamstring problem. Reports suggest Tzolis could now be sidelined for around three weeks.

The injury concerns are mounting for Mikel Arteta. Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera, Piero Hincapié and William Saliba are all currently injured or carrying fitness concerns, while Martin Ødegaard and Ezri Konsa have also had scares during this international period. The good news is that several of those players could be available when Arsenal return against Leeds United.

But could the Tzolis injury actually create a massive opportunity for Eberechi Eze?

Eze has received criticism from some supporters since arriving at Arsenal, but are people underestimating what he's actually contributing? I compare his numbers with former Arsenal attackers Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard and ask whether this run of games could finally give Eze the opportunity to show exactly why Arsenal brought him to the Emirates.

There is also a big debate developing over who should replace Tzolis on the left: Eberechi Eze or Noni Madueke? For me, Madueke is an option there when required, but this feels like Eze's opportunity to make the position his own.

And did Mikel Arteta and Arsenal leave themselves short in the summer transfer window? It's easy to look at the injury list and panic, but any Premier League team would feel the impact of losing several important players simultaneously. Arsenal built this squad specifically to cope with moments like this — and I still believe this squad is strong enough to win the Premier League.

We also discuss Arsenal's links with Antonio Nusa, the possibility of another attacking addition and whether Arsenal could return to the market after failing to land all of Arteta's preferred targets during the summer.

Finally, attention turns to Arsenal vs Leeds United. Even with the injuries, just how strong will Arsenal's starting XI actually be when Premier League football returns at the Emirates on Saturday 10 October? I think some people might be surprised.
