The Funniest Man in Jiu-Jitsu on Going Viral as an A3, Why the Alpha Dad Is Going Extinct & One Life | Mathew Veiga EP115

Professor Mathew Veiga — @oss_nation_bjj, co-host of BJJ Balance, creator of the A3 series that has taken over jiu-jitsu Instagram — sat down for one of the most entertaining and surprisingly real conversations this show has produced. He is forty-two, works for UPS, started creating content at thirty-nine from a kitchen chair in front of a red wall, and has built one of the most recognized pages in jiu-jitsu by filling the gap nobody else was filling: the locker room. The Pat McAfee of jiu-jitsu. In this episode he covers why A3 is a declaration not a complaint, his honest accountability for not competing at Master Worlds with a broken rib, his hot take on gi vs. no-gi at the highest levels, why the alpha dad is going extinct and why that is the whole reason to stay in the fight, and his word for this community: one life.Josh is also an A3. This matters. We are unbothered.

🔗 Mathew Veiga:

IG/TikTok: @oss_nation_bjj

YouTube: Oss Nation BJJ @ossnationbjj9920

BJJ Balance Podcast — every Tuesday with Kenny Wilson · @kennydoesbjj

-BJJ Wholesale Collab- Link in Mats Bio (Rad T’s!)

-More Than Energy Gummies @get_mte Code MATHEW20

🔗 Biospectral Systems — Brand Partner:

Josh wears the Luca Nero frames · Code JOSHBUTTON · 15% off · biospectralsystems.com

🔗 Lineage Provisions — Podcast Partner:

Code JOSHBUTTON · 15% off · lineageprovisions.com

🔗 Greco Gum — Brand Partner:

Code IAMJOSHBUTTON · 10% off · grecogum.com

🔗 Find Josh:

@thatjiujiteiro · @IamJoshButton · @stopkillingtheplants

Free guides: HardtoKillinMidlife.com

👍 Like and subscribe — it helps more people find this content.

Mathew Veiga, oss_nation_bjj, Oss Nation BJJ, BJJ Balance podcast, A3 jiu-jitsu, BJJ memes, BJJ culture, BJJ community, BJJ over 40, midlife jiu-jitsu, gi vs no-gi, alpha dad, one life, staying dangerous after 40, BJJ content creator, Master Worlds BJJ, Coral Belt, hard to kill in midlife, that jiujiteiro, IamJoshButton, stop killing the plants, josh button podcast, ep115, lineage provisions, Biospectral, Greco Gum, HardtoKillinMidlife, BJJ Balance Kenny Wilson · @kennydoesbjj
