The Panel with Eve McCallum and Simon Wilson

Tonight, on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Eve McCallum and Simon Wilson. First up, they take a look at the talking points from Wednesday's Herald Leaders Debate, including Chris Hipkins promise to exclude MPs from the Greens and Te Pati Maori from key Ministerial roles, and Christopher Luxon's wobble on minimum wage rates. Then, an expert in health management systems, Robin Gauld, says that neither Labour nor National have credible long term plans for hospital staffing. And should the OIA extend to cover Parliamentary Services and the like? Chris Hipkins recently said as much. Edward Willis of Otago University's Faculty of Law discusses what that would mean. Finally, a generous Canterbury chef is running free cooking lessons for local kids. Deep Kumar of The Bicycle Thief, an Italian eatery, joins the show.
