Operation 05 - Mission 01 | CLEARANCE HOLD — Something Cannot Continue8 Sept21 min

What happens when God has already made the problem clear?

In this After-Action Report, Erin Dunn and Patrick Nash unpack Mission 01 of Operation 05 — CLEARANCE PROTOCOL: CLEARANCE HOLD — Something Cannot Continue.

The Mission Briefing moves the crew from formation into surrendered readiness. A clearance hold does not automatically mean rejection, failure, or the loss of calling. Sometimes movement stops because God has identified something that cannot safely continue into what He is preparing next.

Erin and Patrick work through the four movements of the briefing: read the hold, name what remains, stop negotiating, and clear the obstruction. They examine the difference between conviction and condemnation, why vague repentance often produces vague change, how delayed obedience can become disguised resistance, and why genuine repentance eventually has to affect our decisions.

The conversation also addresses a difficult reality: some things God asks us to release may still carry emotional weight. A habit may feel familiar. A relationship may hold real memories. A coping mechanism may have developed during a painful season. But understanding why something became part of our lives does not automatically mean it should continue governing where God is leading us.

The goal is not instant perfection or obsessive self-inspection. The goal is increasing availability to Christ. When God identifies an obstruction, spiritual maturity stops asking how much of it can remain and begins asking what obedience requires.

This week’s challenge is practical: request the inspection, name the obstruction, find the access, make the cut, open the channel through healthy accountability, and verify the heading.

Something cannot continue. That does not mean you cannot continue.

Because Jesus is Lord, compromise does not receive permanent authorization.
