The Shadow - "Dead Men Talk" (Old Time Radio)

The Shadow presents “Dead Men Talk,” originally broadcast September 24, 1939. Episode 166 of the Mutual Broadcasting System series, this Blue Coal-sponsored adventure stars Bill Johnstone as Lamont Cranston/The Shadow and was written by Jerry Devine.

When racketeer Joe Gordon vanishes, Cranston and Margot Lane begin tracing uneasy links to respected civic leader Grant Flynn. A reported death, a funeral home, and an underground river tunnel lead The Shadow into a dangerous investigation filled with deception and disappearance.

The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
