High above Baguio City stands the ruined former Diplomat Hotel, a building that began life as a Dominican retreat house before becoming a wartime refuge, a Japanese stronghold and later a hotel operated by controversial faith healer Tony Agpaoa. Since its abandonment, visitors have reported footsteps, voices, wartime apparitions and mysterious religious figures moving through its empty corridors, giving Dominican Hill a reputation as one of the most haunted places in the Philippines.
