Reform Halloween | Reformation Day

Ghosts, goblins, skulls, and even demons—that's what lines my street this month. Whether you enjoy dressing up and taking your kids around the neighborhood to gather candy or strictly prohibit Halloween celebrations in your home, the glorification of evil throughout October is disgusting. When such evil surrounds us, the best place to look is to the Lord!

God did a great work through Martin Luther on October 31, 1517, when he presented his Ninety-Five Theses, challenging practices and teachings in the Roman Catholic Church. This event is traditionally commemorated as the beginning of the Protestant Reformation.

When this is the day you're driving past "friendly ghosts" hanging from a porch, take the time to direct your attention, along with anyone with you, to the good work of the Lord instead, and refresh everyones memory about the history of Reformation Day.
