Wedding planning, baby shower etiquette & is peanut butter sweet or savory?!

This week on Two Parents & A Podcast, happy Monday!! The headline: we FINALLY did some wedding planning (live on the pod..) and we think we may have unlocked something?! You guys know we've been kicking this can down the road (2 under 2 - FORGIVE US), but one little scheduling switch changed everything (iykyk) and now we're officially in planning mode (send us your ATX dueling piano wedding reviews!!)

Before all that: the BEST fantasy football punishment we've ever seen (18 holes of golf with strangers.. no clubs, no ball, full commitment to every pretend swing hahaha), Harrison's cooking redemption arc (Alex used to WINCE from across the kitchen.. now he cleans as he goes?!), and an etiquette check from Jules: do you need a hostess gift for a baby shower at someone's house? Plus a question back to Jules: should you serve alcohol at your wedding if YOU don't drink?! (the short answer: it depends). 

Then a Babylist It Forward follow up: we bought your gifts!! Thank you for sharing your registries with us, this was genuinely so fun 🤍 

And the Bicker of the Week (borrowed from TikTok): is peanut butter sweet or savory?! (Harrison made us asked chat which led to…) The AI corner: AI FOR EVIL (?? lol).. ChatGPT is coming to your iMessages, and we get into whether messages should come with a "sent with ChatGPT" label. And AI FOR GOOD: personalized cancer treatment breakthroughs that genuinely made our jaws drop. Plus THINGS WE DMED EACHOTHER: a magazine made of your saved articles?! (We redesigned the whole product live, you're welcome)

For those who are following along with our little podcast book club: Alex is 120 pages deep into Careless People and has THOUGHTS (kind of not spoiler safe so I guess skip if you just started??). And finally, what's going on at home: a potty training update, the great ice cream night debate (is 2 too young for a scoop?!), Tate officially shutting laptops when it's family time ("no no no no”), and Rocky is OFFICIALLY trying to get in on the action.
