HEAVEN WAITS FOR YOU TO PRAY - CANDICE REARDON

What if prayer is not simply asking God to do something, but partnering with Him to see His will established on earth?

In this message, "Heaven Waits for You to Pray," we begin a new series on Intercessory Prayer and explore what it means for the Church to truly become a House of Prayer.

If God is sovereign, why do we need to pray? Because prayer is not in competition with the sovereignty of God. It is one of the ways God has chosen to accomplish His purposes on the earth.

Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." The Church is called to stand in the gap, interceding for people, communities and the world around us.

We look at:

• Why prayer matters if God is sovereign

• What it means to be a House of Prayer

• The biblical meaning of intercession

• What it means to "stand in the gap"

• The authority Jesus has given His Church

• Priestly and kingly intercession

• How we can partner with God through prayer
