The Struggle Within

Why do Christians still struggle with sin? In Romans 7:1-25, Pastor Allen Bonnell explains that God's law reveals our sin but cannot change our hearts. Neither legalism nor rejecting the law brings freedom. Through Jesus, we belong to a new Master and receive the Holy Spirit's power to fight. We obey God because we are already loved and accepted in Christ, not to earn his favor. As we return to the gospel, confess our sins, and grow through Scripture and Christian community, we learn to walk in that freedom.
