Ep 176 What Do You Do When You Can Finally Choose?
What happens when the life you built is good, the work still matters to you, and you're still really damn good at it, but you finally have enough freedom to ask what you want the next version of it to look like?
That's where I find myself at 57.
I retired this year after almost 30 years in higher education. I'm still coaching. I still care deeply about women's health, weight, menopause, behavior change and all the work I've spent years doing.
But I'm also realizing I don't have to keep doing any of it exactly the way I've done it before.
And that has opened up a much bigger conversation.
What do I still want to build?
What do I want to spend my random Tuesdays doing?
What am I genuinely curious about now?
And what am I still doing simply because I know how to make it work?
In this episode, I'm talking about what happens when change isn't being forced by failure or crisis. Sometimes the thing you built worked really fucking well.
You can still ask whether the next version should look different.
I'm also sharing why I've decided to talk about this while I'm figuring it out - business, health, menopause, life at 57, and whatever else I find myself wanting to explore along the way.
